David's new role as a restaurant owner is put to the test after he loses some of his wait staff on the same day an important food critic has come to review Coal. In an effort to get David to forgive her, Lauren helps out by pitching in as a waitress and hostess. Ella plans to hack into the WPK files to erase the fake evidence framing her for embezzlement, but she has to turn to David for help when Jonah disagrees with her plan. Drew helps Riley throw a fundraiser to support her education foundation, and things go awry when Drew auctions off a date with Riley and he and Jonah get into a bidding war.
